Porno For Pyros is the band Perry Farrellstarted after Jane's Addictionsplit up. Drummer Stephen Perkinscame with him from Jane's Addiction to the new band, where they were joined by guitarist Peter DiStefanoand bassist Martyn Lenoble(who was replaced by Mike Watton Good God's Urge). They released only two albums, 1993's self-titled Porno For Pyrosand 1996's Good God's Urge. The band's sound wasn't too dissimilar from Jane's Addiction, showing Perry's great influence in both projects. They split up in 1997, with Perry pursuing solo projectsand even reuniting Jane's Addiction to tour and eventually record another album.
